Mechanical-Pneumatic Head
An Expandable Head for Heavy Loads
Designed for "between centers" machines with a movable frame, these heads can work either alone with a tailstock or in pairs. They can be equipped with studs (model MPT) or shells (model MPCO). They are primarily intended for high-torque applications and heavy loads. The "mono-stable" pneumatic expansion allows for easy installation in an automated machine. The manufacturing range of "MP" type heads allows the use of mandrels with diameters ranging from 70 to 200 mm.

A Robust Head Dedicated to Large Diameters
Designed for "between centers" machines with a movable frame, these heads always work in pairs, even if only one is motorized or braked. The large expansion allows for flexibility in the diameter of the mandrels. These heads are suitable for high-torque and heavy-load applications. The change in mandrel diameter is very quick. The "mono-stable" pneumatic operation allows for easy installation in an automated machine. The steel jaws are suitable for use with cardboard, plastic, or steel mandrels. The manufacturing range of MPGE-type heads allows the use of mandrels with diameters ranging from 70 to 400 mm.
