Continuous Edge Suction
Continuous Edge Suction
Suction and Waste Removal
This activity involves addressing the delicate problem of removing cutting waste from workstations. Initially, the materials are presented in continuous strips or fragments of various shapes. Therefore, the first step is to capture them and then ensure their transport to more or less distant reception points. This concerns all sheet materials, such as paper, cardboard, plastic, composites, textiles, and even very thin metal sheets. Concretely, this can range from thin stretchable plastic film of 10 microns to flat cardboard of 2000 g/m². Several solutions, including fan-ejectors, fan-shredders, or rotary cutters, are available. The choice is made based on the flexibility of the materials to be removed, their weight, width, transfer distance, and subsequent treatments.
