Continuous edge suction
Suction and evacuation of cutting waste
This activity consists in solving the delicate problem of the evacuation of cutting waste on workstations. Initially, the materials appear in continuous bands or in fragments of various shapes. It is therefore necessary to first capture them, then ensure their delivery to more or less distant reception points. This applies to all sheet materials, such as paper, cardboard, plastic, laminates, textiles, and even very thin sheet metals. Concretely, this can range from thin stretchable plastic film of 10 microns to flat cardboard of 2000 gr/m2. Several solutions, including fan-trumpets, fan-shredders, or even rotary cutters: The choice is made according to the flexibility of the materials to be evacuated, their weight, their width, the transfer distance as well as the subsequent treatments.
